This and That

Well, as you have all probably guessed, since Kayden has learned and mastered the crawl, I haven't had as much time to blog as I'm chasing him around. Things are going well for us in our household though. Bogey is pretty much all healed up, getting a little pudgy but doing well otherwise. We are going to start taking him for longer walks as it has been six weeks since his surgery and he should be good to go. Chad is keeping busy at work with the Westjet building having a possession date of February 7th. We're not sure where he'll be after that but hopefully it will be a little closer to home (really, it can't be further than Westjet). I'm keeping busy trying to soak up all the laughs and babbling I can before I head back to work in three short weeks. Kayden is babbling a lot more but no words yet. If I point to me or the dogs and say our names he just laughs so it may be a while yet. We are all healthy and happy in the Stager household overall! Here is a mix of pictures for you from the past couple of weeks.

After a walk in the nice chinooking weather

Looking for trouble

Playing with Molly
Molly's cute try at walking (belly sticks out and she walks on her tippy toes, but she's so proud!)

Hmmmm...

This picture is for anyone who wonders who Kayden looks like...

Kayden and a picture of Chad at around the same age I think, would have to get Nana to confirm!

Rowan's 1st Birthday!

We went to Edmonton to help celebrate Rowan's very first birthday. She had a great celebration and seemed to enjoy herself as much as a one year old could.

Kayden checking out Ro's new toys

Rowan explaining to Kayden how to put the magnets on the fridge

Kayden still didn't quite get it but was happy to hang out with his cousin!

Sledding

Getting ready to head out Sledding!

Nana and Grandpa K got Kayden a fancy new sled for Christmas. Kayden doesn't complain while he's in there but I'm not sure he understands what's going on quite yet. We are going to take him out more often now that Calgary is starting to warm up so we'll keep you posted with how he does.

Happy New Year! Looking forward to 2009

Hello! Sorry about the lack of posts lately. We've been kept busy by the little man in many ways and have also spent some time with family that I hope to post a summary of all the goings on here. First off, I do believe Kayden had a big year planned for himself as he has had a couple of firsts over the last week.

We have some clapping

Some crawling

And some other little things like shaking his head and going from lying to sitting. So, he's been busy and Chad and I are doing our best to keep up.
