I am still having some troubles uploading videos to the blog but this one seems to work so far. I hope to go back and load a few that are pretty funny. This one is Isabelle saying her Dadada chatter while trying to grab the camera out of my hand.

Soccer Season 2011
Soccer season in Calgary is pretty short. The weather this year brought us a lot of rain, some snow and really windy mornings. We did manage to get out there a few times though. The focus of this year was more of a skills practice than an actual game. As today was the last day though, they had the kids play a match. It was fun to watch! Kayden actually played a bit today so it was a good way to leave this years soccer season.
Now, I'm not sure if you can see this but Kayden is the one in the hat to the left of the picture. He has his arm out and is yelling Stop! I think it's a creative defensive strategy.

All the kids and some parents running in a group to try and get the ball.

In the skills portion of soccer, they usually play games to learn the skills. This one is follow the leader where you kick the ball and then stop and put a body part on the ball.

Kayden (number 4) kicking the ball.

The super cute individual and team picture.

June in Calgary
We are getting organized over here to enjoy this summer, if and when it arrives in Calgary. Isabelle has been sleeping well for a week straight now and I feel as though a fog has lifted. I really mean it too, I looked around the house last Sunday and felt like I had looked at it for the first time! I have energy through the days and can even save a little patience for potty training... Overall potty training is going well, we just have days here and there where you wonder if Kayden just completely forgot everything. All in all my babies are growing up and I don't even understand how Isabelle will be 6 months old at the end of the month already. We are enjoying and appreciating all of our time with them though. Isabelle is trying to talk a lot more. Tonight Chad said, say Dada! And she said Dada! Total coincidence but shocking to think how quickly she is growing...
Tough day, time for a rest.

Now that Isabelle reacts to people, there is a lot more of this...

Kayden is doing his best when dressing himself on his own.

Isabelle is starting to sit up, although a few seconds later she falls down.

Kayden's bicycle is out of the basement and he is trying to learn how to move it on his own.

After another haircut, so handsome!

Kayden gave Isabelle Minnie and her blankie.

Friggin' cute little girl!
