Summer has flown by. I don't even understand how it is the middle of August. We have had a lot of fun though and I will do my best to summarize for you what has been keeping us busy.
Isabelle is doing just great. It's hard to believe she just joined this family 7 and a half months ago but she fits right in. Her eyes seem to be staying steady at what can best be described as a blue hazel. I think she will be lucky enough to have eyes that change between blue and green depending on what she wears.

At the beginning of this week Isabelle and I headed out to Canmore with Lisa and Henry, Carol and Evan. Henry is to the left of Isabelle and Evan is to the right. They are all within two months of each other in age sitting in their birth order actually with Evan being the oldest. Lisa and Carol and their families are close friends and it's just great to see these little ones grow together. It was fun and the babies behaved so well for us. It was a great little escape while Chad and Kayden went to Cranbrook to visit with Nana and Grandpa K.

Isabelle is thinking about crawling. She's done a few crawls but keeps wanting to plant her feet on the ground and go straight to walking... uh oh...

Ali and I took the children out to Calaway Park a couple of weeks back. We had so much fun and took turns on the rides with the toddlers.

The cousins, Isabelle pulling a little bit of Molly's hair

Having a heart to heart.

Having some yummy ice cream (with jackets on as it was a pretty cold day)

Ali braving the log ride... thankfully I got out of this one!

Kayden at the Zoo. This structure is just outside the zoo and is a Camel with Kayden sitting between the Camel humps.

Isabelle is starting to eat a variety of foods. We start off all pretty and easy going.

And eventually end up like this. The yogurt on her forehead was me. It's tricky to feed a moving target! We are getting better at this though.

Isabelle is 7 months old already! She is sitting up so strong now and tries talking, a lot. It's adorable to listen to and I will have to try and get one of her speeches on video.

It was my birthday at the beginning of the month and so we celebrated with some dress up.

I got a haircut after 9 months of no haircut.

There is so much more but that gives you a quick look at some of the craziness keeping us busy in the Stager household. I hope to add some more pictures soon!
